Environmental Health

1. Overview
This class nourishes the deep understanding of interactions between various environmental conditions and public health and the ability to evaluate the effects of environmental factors on individual and population health and survival. It also deepens the knowledge of characteristics and public health risks of pathogenic microorganisms, the mechanisms of infectious disease outbreak, and preventive measures to nourish the ability to suggest practical tackling measures to infectious disease outbreak. Throughout the classes, it aims the practical and deeper understanding of environmental health and infectious disease control.

本講義では,様々な環境条件と公衆衛生の相互関係を深く理解し,環境要因が個人及び集団の健康や生存に与える影響を評価できる能力を養う。また,病原微生物の性状や公衆衛生に与えるリスク,感染症発生メカニズムや予防対策などの知識を深めて,実践的な感染症対策を提案できる能力を養う。講義全般を通じて,環境保健学や感染症対策学に関する実践的かつ深い理解を目指す。
